Whether about the latest cars and SUVs rolling in on Oakvale Road or about those yet to arrive here in our Mercer County seat, there's already a lot of talk of new Hyundai models here at Pantili Hyundai. In fact, we're already getting plenty of customer questions about what to expect -- and we'll bet you have your own. You're in luck -- you can take a virtual tour of 2019, right here on our website. So, what's returning for the next model year?

For one, 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe, previously known as Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. The compact SUV comes back almost entirely new, with a larger, stronger steel chassis, a new eight-speed automatic transmission )paired with either 2.4-liter or turbocharged 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engines), and an optional new HTRAC all-wheel-drive system. That's not to mention the centerpiece: our automaker's Smart Sense driver-assistance technologies are now standard.

Secondly, the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe XL, formerly the full-size Hyundai Santa Fe. This SUV with mid-size aspirations looks to remain a family favorite. It's powerful, comfortably roomy, cutting-edge on safety and technology, and quality assured with an industry-leading warranty.

Next, the celebrated 2019 Hyundai Elantra returns. The compact car comes thoroughly made over, with a new front-end design, fresh fenders, and restyled trunk and taillights. New driver-assist features got added to Elantra SEL and higher trims, and you can expect numerous interior upgrades, from a rearview camera to available Qi wireless charging.

Also coming back is the 2019 Hyundai Accent. A 2018 redesign made the subcompact sedan more attractive to young and first-time buyers, and the highly affordable commuter, though modestly updated, is still big on value. It's got new looks thanks to the addition of a cascading grille, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are available, and fog and LED headlighting are options.

Everyone's favorite sporty, coupe-evocative hatchback got a new 2019 model, too. The second-generation Hyundai Veloster comes excitingly styled, with a larger, more aggressive look, and it's a blast to drive thanks to a more powerful engine and exhilarating six-speed manual clutch take-up and shift action. The car's redesigned interior makes the ideal finishing touch, too. There's even a high-performance variant, 2019 Veloster N, coming soon.

Heading up the hybrid hatch category is the 2019 Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid. With up to an EPA-estimated 57 mpg city and 59 mpg highway, as well as a total cruising distance of nearly 700 miles, it's still one of the most competitive distance-goers in the segment. It's got a few driver-assist improvements as well: Ioniq SEL gets automatic emergency braking standard this year, and cool new features like Driver Attention Alert are optional. Plus, it's loaded with forward-thinking technologies.

2019 Hyundai Kona EV, an electrified-powertrain version of the 2018 Kona, 2019 Hyundai Tucson, and 2019 Hyundai Nexo Fuel Cell are also just around the corner, so it's going to be an exciting year.
